Notes:
I offer this pattern for free and I only ask for two things in return.  1)  Please do not sell the pattern, or the product of this pattern, and 2) I would love if you shared with me a picture of what you made.
The yellow bird can be worked in the continuous spiral, or by joining rounds.  I worked him by joining rounds.  I also used safety eyes, but these can be replaced with little felt cut-outs.  In order to use the safety eyes they must be attached to the body before you finish crocheting the body.  I suggest sewing the entire face on before completing the body.  Also, I used Red Heart: Super Saver yarn. This pattern has not yet been tested so there may be some mistakes. If you find one please tell me so that I can fix it.

Assembly:
Because I wanted to use safety eyes I sew the eye white on the bird’s body before I finished crocheting the body.  I also sewed the rest of the facial features (beak, belly and eyebrows) so that I could more properly place the eyes.  After finished the body I attached the head feathers.
